Arabic vocabulary
How to say “most” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمُعْظَمُهَا مِنْ قِبَلِ طَلَبِهِمْ لِلرِّئَاسَةِ،
And most of it is from the part of their pursuit of leadership,
وَمُعْظَمُهَا — and most of it. Two glued parts: the linking 'and' (wa-) joining this clause to the previous, plus a quantifier 'the greater part' with a feminine -ha ('it') attached that points back to those punishments. The pronoun ties this new claim to the topic already running, framing what is about to be explained as the bulk of that same thing.
