Arabic vocabulary
How to say “my allies” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أُولَئِكَ هُمْ أَوْلِيَائِيُ حَقًّا حَقًّا
Those are truly my allies, truly.
أَوْلِيَائِيُ — my allies. This is a broken plural noun, its plural made by reshaping the word inside, with -i, the 'my' possessor, fused to its end, so one word means 'my allies'. It is the predicate, what 'those' are declared to be. The possessor ties the allies to the speaker.
