Arabic vocabulary
أداء is how you say “performance” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَقدمُوا لانفسهم الْجنَّة ترْضى مِنْك بأَدَاء الْفَرَائِض
And they put forward paradise for themselves. It is pleased with you through fulfilling the obligations.
بِأَدَاءِ — through fulfilling. 'Bi-' (by / through) fused with a verbal noun 'performing / discharging', first term of an 'of' pairing — 'by the fulfilling of the obligations'; it governs the genitive. The 'bi-' marks the means of its satisfaction; it owns the noun that follows.
