Arabic vocabulary
How to say “place his trust” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
And whoever places his trust in God, He is sufficient for him.
يَتَوَكَّلْ — places his trust. This verb sits in its shortened conditional shape, the form triggered by the 'whoever' before it, signalled by a clipped ending. That clipping is how a reader knows it is the 'if' half of a condition, not a plain statement. It carries its 'he' subject inside and means 'he trusts'.
