بِحِفْظِهَا — to preserve it. A preposition 'with / to' fused to a verbal noun 'safeguarding' that itself carries 'it' as possessor on the end, so one word holds 'with-guarding-it'. The preposition links the command to its content, and the 'it' points back to the entrusted soul.
