That is the provision of worldly life; and is the provision anything but a loan that is lent?
مَتَاعُ — provision. A noun 'provision / enjoyment' heading a possessive link with the words after it — 'provision of ...' — set directly before its owner with no 'of'. As the owned head it drops its own 'the' and takes definiteness from the following words. It is the predicate of 'that is ...', naming what worldly things amount to.
