Among its Sunnahs: saying 'Bismillah', preferring the right over the left, continuity, lightening the dust if it is excessive, and not repeating the wiping.
وَتَخْفِيفُ — and lightening. A fourth sunnah joined by 'and' — 'the lightening of...' — an action-noun heading an 'of' pair with 'the dust.' It recommends shaking off excess earth, as the condition next adds.
