How to say “reject” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَرَفَضَهُ وَقَالَ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَبِرُسُلِهِ
So he rejected him and said, "I believed in God and in His messengers."
فَرَفَضَهُ — so he rejected him. The fa- is a consequence 'so', and the completed past verb 'he rejected' has an object pronoun 'him' attached; the suffix names the one rejected. One word carries the link, the act, and its object.
