How to say “relieve” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَفْرِجْ عَنَّا مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ
So relieve us of what we are in.
فَأَفْرِجْ — so relieve. A command form, an imperative telling God (in petition) to act, opened by 'fa-' that ties the request to the 'if'-clause before it as its consequence: if the deed was sincere, then grant relief. The verb's form-IV shape gives it a causative push, 'bring about relief'.
