Arabic vocabulary
How to say “reveal” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَبْدَى مَضْجَعٌ سِوَاكَ قِبَلَ المَمَّاتِ مَضْجَعُكَ،
And he revealed a resting place other than you before death revealed your resting place.
وَأَبْدَى — and he revealed. The leading wa- ('and') ties this clause to the previous thought, and the verb is past-tense carrying its 'he' subject inside, so no separate 'he' is needed. It opens the parallel image about death revealing a resting place, continuing the meditation on mortality.
