How to say “ruins” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
تَخْرُبُ إِحْدَاهُنَّ الدِّينَ بَعْدَ أَنْ تَخْرَبَ الدَّارَ،
One of the women ruins the religion after the house is ruined.
تَخْرَبَ — she ruins. A present-tense verb 'ruins' carrying a third-person feminine 'she'. The order to note is verb-before-subject: the doer is named in the next word, not before, which is the normal Arabic arrangement. The feminine form looks ahead to the female doer about to be specified.
