Arabic vocabulary
How to say “so call” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ الْحَقُّ إِلَى أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ فَادْعُهُمْ لِي
The Truth said to the People of the Suffah, "Call them to me."
فَإِدْعُهُمْ — so call them. This begins with the connector 'so/then', then is a command verb 'call', with 'them' attached as object; so one word covers 'so call them'. A command verb already addresses 'you', so no subject pronoun appears. The connector ties the order to the preceding statement.
