قَالَ فَأَجْلَسَنِي فِي قَاعٍ حَوْلَهُ حِجَارَةٌ
He said, then he seated me in a hollow surrounded by stones.
حِجَارَةٌ — stones. An indefinite plural noun, 'stones', in the basic subject form, marked with a final 'n'-type ending for an open 'some stones'. It is the thing the 'around it' clause says lay encircling the hollow.
