Arabic vocabulary
How to say “success” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وليعلم أن النصر عليها هو الفوز العظيم
And know that victory over it is the greatest success.
الفَوْزُ — the success. This is the predicate naming what the victory amounts to, so within the 'that' clause it stands in the subject-style case as the predicate. With 'the' it is definite, 'the success', completing the embedded statement.
