Arabic vocabulary
How to say “take him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ خُذُوهُ فَإِنَّهُ صَاحِبُكُمْ
So Solomon said, 'Take him, for indeed he is your companion.'
خُذُوهُ — take him. A command verb aimed at a group: the plural ending tells you the order is given to several people at once, not to one person. The pronoun tail attached at the end is the thing being seized, so one Arabic word packs the command, its plural addressees, and its object together.
