فَلَمَّا حَلَّ الْهَدْمُ بِوُدِّ سَارَةَ مَنْعُ الْوِلْدَيْنِ يَجُوزُ،
When destruction befell Sarah's household, preventing the two sons was permissible.
الْهَدْمِ — the destruction. The definite subject of 'befell', carrying its subject ending and placed after the verb. With 'al-' it names the specific calamity that struck; a 'in/at' phrase will localise it next.
