الْعَالِمُ إِذَا أَرَادَ بِعِلْمِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ هَابَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ
When a scholar seeks, by his knowledge, the Face of Allah Most High, everything fears him.
وَجْهَ — the Face of. A noun in the accusative as the object sought, and the head of a possessive pairing with the divine name after it. As the first half of 'the Face of Allah' it drops its own 'the', drawing definiteness from the owner.
