فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ الْقَوْمُ إِلَّا قَلِيلاً حَتَّى أَتَى الْجُرْذُ عَلَى الرَدْمِ

الرَدْمِ — the mound. A definite noun in the genitive after the preposition, naming the earthen barrier. It is the place the rat came onto, the target of the motion.
