How to say “the Sustainer” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer—until you finish the verse,
الْقَيُّومُ — the Sustainer. A definite epithet with 'the', describing God as the self-subsisting sustainer; like the previous epithet, its nominative ending ties it back to the opening 'God'. It is another attribute set in apposition, extending the description.
