Arabic vocabulary
How to say “they found him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَوَجَدُوهُ إِلَى هَذِهِ أَقْرَبَ بِشِبْرٍ فَغُفِرَ لَهُ
They found him closer to this one by a finger's breadth, and he was forgiven.
فَوَجَدُوهُ — they found him. This is a past-tense verb with a plural subject 'they' inside and an attached object pronoun 'him' on the end: 'they found him'. The leading 'fa-' chains it to the previous action, and Arabic packs verb, subject, and object into one word here.
