How to say “they know them” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
دَرَسَتْ مَعَالِمُ الْقُرْآنِ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَيْسُوا يَعْرِفُونَهَا،
The signs of the Qur'an were inscribed in their hearts, so they do not know them.
يَعْرِفُونَهَا — they know them. This is a present-tense verb with a plural subject 'they' inside and an attached object pronoun 'them' on the end. Paired with the preceding negator it forms a continuous-sense denial, 'they do not know them', with the pronoun pointing back to the signs.
