How to say “they wrapped” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَزَمَّلُوهُ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الرَّوْعُ
So they wrapped him until the fear left him.
فَزَمَّلُوهُ — so they wrapped him. The prefix fa- moves the story on as the consequence, 'so', and the verb is a past plural, 'they', with 'him' attached at the end as the object. So one word holds the connector, the group-action, and who it was done to.
