Arabic vocabulary
How to say “was revealed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِنْكَشَفَتْ لَهُمْ حَقِيقَةُ مَا اِعْتَقَدُوهُ،
And the reality of what they had believed was revealed to them.
وَإِنْكَشَفَتْ — and was revealed. The wa- opens with 'and'. The verb is past tense in a pattern meaning 'was uncovered / came to light' on its own, with no outside doer, so the subject simply undergoes the revealing. Its feminine ending looks ahead to the feminine 'reality' that is its subject.
