Arabic vocabulary
How to say “we seek” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَنَعْتَسِفُ مَفَازَةً الْقَفْرِ إِلَّا لِمُشَاهَدَةِ مَجْلِسٍ مِنْ مَجَالِسِهِ
And we seek the desert's shelters only to behold one of his assemblies.
وَنَعْتَسِفُ — and we seek. The wa- on the front is the linking 'and'. The verb is present-tense with 'we' carried inside its shape, continuing the same first-person plural subject, so the doer is folded into the verb without a separate pronoun.
