فَإِن فِي طَاعَته سخط الرَّحْمَن
For obeying him brings the wrath of the Merciful.
سُخْطَ — the wrath of. This is 'wrath, displeasure' heading a possessive pairing with the name that follows, 'the wrath of the Merciful'. It is the delayed subject of the 'there is in X...' frame, and the emphasis particle earlier governs it into the accusative. As owner-term it takes definiteness from the owned name.
