Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you find; to find” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَتَجِدُ أَحَدُهُمْ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ الْأَمْرِ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ،
So you find one of them asking about small and large matters.
فَتَجِدُ — so you find. The prefix fa- ('so') fused onto a present-tense verb 'you find' carrying a second-person 'you'. The fa- draws a conclusion from the foregoing — 'so you find ...' — turning to address the reader directly. The verb's 'you' is general, anyone observing. It opens an illustrative scene.
