Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you (plural) believe me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَعَدَتْ فَقَالَتْ وَاللَّهِ لَئِنْ حَلَفْتُ لَا تُصَدِّقُونَنِي،
She sat down and said, "By God, if I swear, you will not believe me."
تُصَدِّقُونَنِي — you (plural) believe me. A dense verb stacking three things: the present-tense base 'believe', the -una ending marking a plural 'you' subject, and a final -ni that is the object 'me'. So one word says 'you all believe me', subject and object both folded inside, which English must spread across three words.
