Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you saw” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَسْلَمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ
Have you considered what would happen if Abdullah were to become Muslim?
أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ — have you considered. A questioning prefix fused to a past verb that carries its 'you' (plural) subject, so 'have you considered' is one word. The prefix turns the verb into a challenge-question put to the group, opening a 'what if' inquiry.
