How to say “Zur'ah” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
عَنْ زَرْعَةِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمِ،
Narrated by Zur'ah, son of Ibrahim,
زَرْعَةِ — Zur'ah. This is a proper narrator name held in the genitive by the transmission preposition before it. Its case ending is set entirely by the 'on the authority of' that precedes it, not by any role in the sentence. It names the source of the report.
