أَضْحَكَ الثَّكْلَى بِمَا يَسْرُدُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِ البُخَلَاءِ وَالْحَمْقَى
He made the bereaved laugh with the stories he recounted about the misers and the fools.
أَخْبَارِ — stories. A plural noun, 'reports of', in the after-preposition case under 'of', and itself the head of 'reports of the misers'. It obeys the preposition while owning the noun that follows.
