How to say “acts of worship” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَدَرٍ هَمُّهُمْ، وَحِفْظُهُمْ، وَعِبَادَاتُهُمْ، وَغَرَائِبُ عُلُومِهِمْ،
the extent of their concern, their memorization, their acts of worship, and the remarkable aspects of their sciences,
وَعِبَادَاتُهُمْ — their acts of worship. Again wa- adds a parallel item: a plural noun with -hum ('their') attached. The recurring -hum keeps the whole list anchored to the people, and the conjunction continues the catalogue of admired traits. This connector shares the list-building job of the previous ones.
