وَقَدَرٍ هَمُّهُمْ، وَحِفْظُهُمْ، وَعِبَادَاتُهُمْ، وَغَرَائِبُ عُلُومِهِمْ،
the extent of their concern, their memorization, their acts of worship, and the remarkable aspects of their sciences,
هَمُّهُمْ — their concern. A noun with the plural pronoun -hum ('their') attached, completing 'the extent of their concern'. The attached possessor makes it definite and ties the concern to the people, and as the owned member of the pairing it sits in the genitive. The -hum points back to the people observed.
