Arabic vocabulary
How to say “remarkable aspects of” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَدَرٍ هَمُّهُمْ، وَحِفْظُهُمْ، وَعِبَادَاتُهُمْ، وَغَرَائِبُ عُلُومِهِمْ،
the extent of their concern, their memorization, their acts of worship, and the remarkable aspects of their sciences,
وَغَرَائِبُ — and the remarkable aspects of. This token fuses the linking wa- with a plural noun that heads an 'of' pairing: 'and the remarkable aspects of...'. As the first member it leans on the following possessed noun for definiteness. The wa- adds this final admired quality to the list.
