Arabic vocabulary
وَسَلَّمَ is how you say “and peace” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
سَمِعْت رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم يَقُولُ
I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say:
وَسَلَّمَ — and peace. A second blessing-verb joined by 'and': 'and may He grant him peace.' Its subject 'Allah' is left understood from the verb just before, so this word stands alone carrying the wish.
