كِيسَهُ — his bag. Two pieces sit on this word: a noun naming the container, and an attached possessor on its end pointing back to that man. Arabic glues the owner directly onto the noun, so one written word does the job of 'his bag'.
From: Empty Fasting, Empty Prayer →وَلَا مَنْفَعَةَ لَهُ فِي كِيسِهِ سِوَى مَقَالَةِ النَّاسِ لَهُ
and there is no benefit for him in his bag except the people’s remark:
كِيسِهِ — his bag. A noun, 'bag', with a possessor on its end pointing back to the man, so one word means 'his bag'. Its ending is the (genitive) form because the 'in' before it governs it.
From: Empty Fasting, Empty Prayer →مَا أَمْلَأَ كِيسَهُ
'How full his bag is!'
كِيسَهُ — his bag. A noun, 'bag', with the possessor glued to its end pointing back to the man, so one word says 'his bag'. Its ending marks it as the thing the exclamatory form is amazed about.
