And fear negation, for if it is believed, it harms those who liken, the worshippers of idols, and Ibrahim made them fragments. The deniers infiltrate among you, intermingle and then slip away from you unnoticed.
ٱعْتُقِدَ — it is believed. This verb is in the passive voice, 'is believed', so the focus is on the belief being held, not on who holds it. Arabic marks the passive through the inner vowel pattern, and it fills the condition opened by 'if'.
