وخف التعطيل فإنه إذا اعتقد آذى المشبهة عبدة الأصنام وإبراهيم يجعلهم جذاذا والمعطلة يدخلون بينكم ويتخللون ثم يتسللون منكم لواذا،
And fear negation, for if it is believed, it harms those who liken, the worshippers of idols, and Ibrahim made them fragments. The deniers infiltrate among you, intermingle and then slip away from you unnoticed.
ٱلْمُشَبِّهَةَ — those who liken. The al- makes this definite, 'those who liken'. It is the object of the verb 'harms', a plural referring to people, and carries the -a ending that marks the thing the action falls upon.
