  أَغْنَاهُمُ — had enriched them. This is a past verb 'he enriched, made wealthy' with the attached 'them' as object. The 'he' doer, named just after as God, follows the verb. One word carries 'he enriched them', the object pronoun pointing to the people. It sits inside the 'that' clause.
