How to say “bewildered” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ قَوْمٌ بُهْتٌ،
Then he said, 'O Messenger of God, the Jews are a bewildered people.'
بُهْتٌ — bewildered. A describing word 'bewildered/given to slander' qualifying 'a people', agreeing with it as its trait. It rounds out the predicate, telling what kind of people the claim asserts them to be.
