Write two lines before sleeping: one for expressing gratitude for a blessing you noticed, and another for resolving to correct one character trait tomorrow.
نِعْمَةٍ — a blessing. 'ni'ma' = 'blessing, favor'. No 'al-', so 'a blessing'; takes the ending after 'ala'.

نِعْمَتِهِ — His blessing. The owner half of the possessive pair, in the 'of' ending, with 'his' fused to its end pointing back to God. So it reads 'his blessing', and being the second link it supplies whose blessing the gratitude is for, with the divine referent traced from context.
