Arabic vocabulary
مندفق is how you say “bursting forth” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
يقال دفقت الماء فهو مدفوق ودافق ومندفق
It is said, "I poured the water," so it is "madfuq," "dafiq," and "mundafiq."
وَمُنْدَفِقٌ — and mundafiq. wa- (and) on another participle on the reflexive/intensive pattern, naming water as 'that which pours itself out'. This pattern adds a sense of the action happening of its own accord, a step beyond the plain active participle before it.
