Arabic vocabulary
How to say “casting” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَوْلٌ آخَرٌ إِنْ كَانَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ سُلْطَانٌ فِي إِلْقَاءِ العَبْدَ فِي المَعْصِيَةِ
And another view says that if the devil has power to cast the servant into sin.
إِلْقَاء — casting. An action-noun ('casting / throwing') naming the deed, in the genitive ending under the preceding 'in'. As a verbal noun it still reaches forward to take its own object, heading the chain 'casting the servant', so it behaves half like a verb.
