ثِيَابِهِ — their clothes. A broken plural 'garments' with '-hi' (his) attached, genitive after 'under'. The possessor points to the musk-bearer, under whose clothes it lies.

الثِّيَابِ — the clothes. The 'the' makes this plural noun definite, and it closes the chain as the owner, 'the whiteness of the clothes'. As the final owner it takes the genitive ending; the whole stacked phrase means 'very white of clothing'.
