and so is the fasting person; their fast is hidden from the view of creation, it cannot be perceived by their senses.
مَسْتُورٌ — hidden. A passive participle 'concealed', the predicate of 'his fast', indefinite nominative, masculine to agree with 'fast'. It says the fast is acted on — kept out of sight.
