إِذْ مَرَّ بِاِمْرَأَةٍ تَصِيحُ بِابْنِهَا يَا وَلَدِي
When he passed by a woman who was crying out for her son, she cried, "O my son!"
تَصِيحُ — she is crying out. A present-tense verb carrying a feminine '-she' marker, describing the woman as crying out, an ongoing action set in the past scene. Its subject is built in, pointing to the woman just mentioned. The present shape paints the crying as live and continuing within the narrative.
