How to say “dependent” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
And He, exalted be He, made leadership in religion dependent on patience and certainty.
مَنُوطَةً — dependent. A passive-pattern describing word ('made dependent') that serves as the second object of 'made' - the state into which leadership was put. It is accusative to match that role, completing 'made leadership dependent'.
