وَجَعَلَ سُبْحَانَهُ الإِمَامَةَ فِي الدِّينِ مَنُوطَةً بِالصَّبْرِ وَالْيَقِينِ
And He, exalted be He, made leadership in religion dependent on patience and certainty.
الإِمَامَةَ — leadership. A definite noun naming leadership, standing as the thing 'made' and so carrying the accusative as the verb's direct object. The accusative ending is the sign it is what got made, not the maker.
