Arabic vocabulary
رغبة is how you say “desire” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
قال يقولون لو أنهم رأوها كانوا أشد عليها حرصًا، وأشد لها طلبًا، وأعظم فيها رغبة
He said: They say: If they had seen it, they would be more eager for it, more earnest in seeking it, and greater in their desire for it.
رَغْبَةً — desire. An accusative-of-specification — 'in desire' — closing the trio: keener in eagerness, in seeking, and greater in desire. The accusative pins each to its exact respect.
