Arabic vocabulary
How to say “drew him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِذَا عَادَ إِلَى الشَّوَاغِلِ، اِجْتَذَبَهُ بِآفَاتِهَا،
When he returns to worldly distractions, their afflictions draw him back.
اجتذبته — drew him. This past-tense verb carries its own subject and an attached 'him' object; its hidden doer is the afflictions named next, with the man as the one drawn. The past shape reads as the condition's general result.
