And some of the Companions said that the believer drives away his devil as one of you drives off his camel on a journey.
يَنْحِي — drives away. A present-tense verb 'drives away' with its 'he' subject built in, stating what the believer habitually does to his devil. Its plain present form marks an ongoing, characteristic action.
